May it be contagious

Posted on March 9, 2010

Peter and John run towards the tomb.

John outruns Peter, reaches the tomb first, and looks in.

Peter arrives, steps past John, and enters the tomb.

John then joins Peter inside the tomb.

Why did they run? Why did they look in? Why did they step in? Because Mary Magdalen had told them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”

Jesus had become the center of their life, the center of their hearts, and the center of their future.   It’s all about the running and the resolve. Their hearts are afire. May it be contagious.

Yes! I don’t ever want the fire or the resolve to fade out of my heart. May it not only be contagious, but also fueled a million times more! Thanks, Steve!
