What if…

What if sin was this beast? And what if we were the guy across from him untroubled and taking a picture (see it large!)?
Those two questions weigh on me from time to time. Am I (are all of us) untroubled by a sin two enough to lose our fear of what we’re really dealing with (Romans 6:23 & Galatians 6:7-8)?
Sometimes it is very good (for me at least) to give those three questions some long and serious thought. My (our) sinful nature is not a quiet, toothless kitten (1 Peter 5:8).
