When a baby gets human rights
Posted on January 23, 2009
These are some of the words President Obama said yesterday in his statement about abortion.
“On this anniversary, we must also recommit ourselves more broadly to ensuring that our daughters have the same rights and opportunities as our sons: the chance to attain a world-class education; to have fulfilling careers in any industry; to be treated fairly and paid equally for their work; and to have no limits on their dreams. That is what I want for women everywhere.”
One individual has commented that for Obama “a baby gets human rights when the mother wants it to have human rights. The will of the stronger is the rule of law.”
Another has commented, “Apparently, the only way our daughters can be successful is if they are permitted to kill our grandchildren. So, without surgery so that women can be like men, women are unequal to men. Thus, according to Obama, women are congenitally inferior unless they can have abortions. I don’t even think the worst chauvinists in the world have implied anything so outrageous.”
And another person has written an open and provocative letter to Christians who voted for Obama.

Thank you for this, Steve.
You’re welcome.
Thank you Steve. It is tragically and fatally sad that such an apparently “brilliant” man as our president can contradict himself in one single sentence and does not see that he supports exactly the opposite of what he professes: he refuses to allow all of our children equal rights and opportunities when he refuses them life.
Thanks Karen!
You’ve got an eye for placing a great photo with your posts. It is true what they say about a picture and a thousand words.
Nice post again.
Thanks Ben.
