Something gets the glory

Something gets the glory in our lives.
No matter what, we give something in our lives our utmost attention.
Something garnishes our greatest affection.
Something shines brightest.
Ready for this one: Whether we know it or admit, the truth is, something in our life matters more than God Himself.
If we doubt this, then we’re also able tp walk on water on a fairly regular basis.
Jesus came to save us from ourselves. He didn’t come because he was so impressed with our selflessness and love for Him.
If we can accept this, then we’d all be wise to identify the things (yes, plural) that matter to us more than God, the things that stir our hearts the most, and confess them and repent of them.
