Today we walked with the giants.

On our second day in San Francisco visiting our son, we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge and to the Muir Woods.

It is easy to see why the have preserved this piece of land. The Redwood groves are big and thick and TALL.

And it is all of God and for His glory.

Created by Christ to direct our hearts and head and emotions upward.

Men of old used to talk about spiritual affections. That is, how God and the things of God sway our emotions and feelings away from earth and towards heaven.

Places like Muir Woods are gifts from God meant to stir our spiritual affections upward.
