Let us not stray

There is always much to be thankful for.
Even in the worst of times, a follower of Jesus Christ can find joy.
And in the best of times, let us never stray from the joy of our first love.
“Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring us to God.”
The day is not about football or pie or stuffing or even family. This day, like all days, is about Jesus Christ. After Jesus and through Jesus and for Jesus is Thanksgiving Day.
For without our Lord, this day would be mainly about us. To god be the focus and the glory and the purpose and the joy in everything we do.
