What are those?

Not all things are what they appear.

When I first saw this photograph I thought it was broken wires that were somehow on fire.

I discovered that the lights were actually moths, and that the photograph was actually timed to capture the moths in flight.

Our first impressions are often wrong. Our perception of things isn’t always as true as we might think.

Some people have an impression of Jesus Christ that is off the mark simply because what they think they see isn’t accurate. Either what they’ve been told or what they have perceived has given them a false impression.

Unlike this photograph, a misunderstanding of Jesus is serious. While on earth, live without our creator, savior, and sustainer. We live without the greatest reason to live and greatest source of joy.

A true perception of Jesus is both essential and immensely meaningful.
